MODIFICATION FOR SHIP INDUSTRY
The plant is designed for local cleaning of contaminated air from radioactive aerosols and iodine compounds in the work area of nuclear submarines.
UVFPK is applied as a local device to remove (using suction method) contaminated air from the area of works with generation of GRW and clean it in filtration chamber of the plant.
The plant consists of separate units assembled in the place of operation into a filtering system of necessary configuration using filtration chambers (main or backup), ventilation chamber and flexible ventilation hoses of different length.
Main filtration chamber provides for combined high-efficient air cleaning from GRW containing solid aerosols, iodine and its compounds using 4 different filters.
Backup filtration chamber is only used for high-efficiency air filtration from solid aerosols and is supplied in the set of plant accessories for maximum saving of expensive sorber-filter in the main filtration chamber. Therefore, in the backup filtration chamber there are only 3 aerosol filters of the same modification.
