The company was created and started its activities in 2004.
Significant assistance in implementation of innovation projects was provided to the company by FSBI “Foundation for Assistance in Development of Small Innovative Enterprises in Scientific and Technical Sphere”.
In 2013 the Foundation provided a grant for implementation of the innovation project: “Development of a facility to clean steam-gas mixture discharged from the containment in case of a beyond design basis accident from aerosols and iodine for VVER-1000 type reactors in Ukrainian NPP power units”.
In 2015 the grant to reimburse the costs related to implementation of the innovation project: “Preparing and organizing mass production of high-efficiency aerosol filters with iodine-cleaning section to equip nuclear facilities and special radiochemical production facilities”.
Upon the results of 2017 based on the data of the Russian Federal State Statistic Service (ROSSTAT) “AeroFilter” LLC took the 8th place in the category of “Production of industrial refrigeration and ventilation equipment”.
In 2022, the Innovation Promotion Fund (FGBU “Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere”) provided AeroFilter with a grant in the amount of 10 million rubles for the implementation of an innovative project: “Organization of mass production of filter equipment for ventilation systems of universal nuclear icebreakers and upgraded floating power units (MPE). These funds will be used to expand the production base of the enterprise.
This event was made possible with the support of the Innovation Promotion Fund (FGBU "Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere"). A grant of 10 million rubles provided to the company helped to implement an innovative project to organize serial production of filter equipment for ventilation systems of universal nuclear icebreakers and modernized floating power units.
